2012 ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

The 2012 Annual General Meeting of the Prader-Willi Syndrome Association (NZ) Inc. will be held March / April - to be announced. All members are welcome to attend. The last Annual Report is available online.

2ND SOUTH PACIFIC AUSTRALASIAN PWS CONFERENCE - 2012

This will be held in Sydney, March 10th and 11th 2012.  

This is a fantastic opportunity to not only meet other families living with Prader-Willi Syndrome but to hear expert medical and professional speakers from around the Asia-Pacific region. The conference provides a forum for doctors, scientists, researchers, caregivers, professionals and parents to join together and share their expertise. The topics covered will be relevant for all age groups and will include genetics and the differences between PWS sub-groups, behavioural management, endocrinology, growth hormone and other hormones, medical problems and treatments, transitions from childhood to adolescence and beyond, education and work options, nutrition and exercise, training for caregivers, updates on current research and more!
